500 gram brinjal

3 tomatoes

2 green chillies

1 piece ginger

1 piece Asafoetida

1 tsp coriander powder

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1/4 tsp red chilli powder

1/4 tsp garam masala

2 tsp oil

Salt to taste

Method of preparation 

How to make Baingan ka Bharta Recipe

To make brinjal puree, first wash the brinjal thoroughly and clean it with water. 

Now put the eggplant on the gas for roasting. Roasting the eggplant and roasting it all over the place 

will roast your eggplant in 2-3 minutes. 

Turn off the gas and keep the brinjals in a plate.

When the eggplant cools down, peel it with the help of a knife and then cut the pulp inside it and 

keep it on a plate.

Now take a pan and put oil in it and heat it, now add cumin and asafoetida, when it is hot, add 

turmeric, coriander, ginger, green chillies, red chillies etc. and fry it.

After doing so add tomatoes to this roasted mixture and cook on low heat. 

Leave the mixture on the gas to cook for 2-3 minutes.

Now add brinjals to this roasted spices and fry well with the help of a spatula. 

Also add salt and garam masala to this mixture.

Keep stirring this mixture for 3-4 minutes, your delicious and hot brinjal filling is ready.
