 Pani puri recipe

Although Pani Puri is known by many names, but seeing it, everyone gets water in his mouth. Taste the spicy taste of pani puri with your hands through this recipe.


  • For the whole
  • One cup semolina (rava)
  • Half a teaspoon baking powder
  • Half a teaspoon salt
  • A spoonful of oil
  • One tablespoon all purpose flour For stuffing 
  • 2 boiled potatoes chopped
  • Half cup boiled chickpea gram
  • Half cup onion chopped
  • Finely chop one tablespoon coriander leaves
  • One teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • A spoonful of Chaat Masala
  • Black salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder

  • For water

  • Half cup mint leaves finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves finely chopped
  • A teaspoon ginger grated
  • One spoon tamarind paste
  • A green chili finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons jaggery grated
  • Black salt to taste
  • One teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • A spoonful of Chaat Masala


How to make water puri for poori

Put semolina, salt, maida, baking powder in a bowl and mix it well.
Now add oil in the mixture of maida and semolina and knead it like bread flour by adding water as required.

After this, cover the dough with a wet cloth and keep it for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, make a dough equal to one lemon from the dough. Then roll the thin roti with the dough.

Now with a small lid, cut round roti from the roti. Remove these puris and keep them in a plate. Likewise prepare puris from the whole dough.

Heat the oil in a pan on the gas. Then put 5 to 6 pooris in hot oil and fry them. Stir the puris with a little bit of oil in the oil.

Flip the puris till they turn golden brown and take them out in a plate. Keep it open until it gets completely cold.

Pooris are ready for water puri.

Method of stuffing and preparation of water for water puri
Put potatoes, onion, coriander leaves, chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, black salt, boiled gram and red chilli powder in the bowl and mix all the ingredients well.

Now grind mint leaves, coriander leaves, ginger, tamarind paste, jaggery, green chillies, chaat masala, roasted cumin powder and black salt in a grinder to make a paste.
Mix this paste by adding 4 cups of water and filter it.

- Take water puri is ready. Now burst the puri from the middle and put some potato stuffing in it and fill it with water.
